Product Information
For carp anglers who favour a dark finish, the Shimano Ultegra 14000 XTE brings Shimano long-cast technology to a lightweight, rigid C14+ body.
It is a 14000 big-pit reel with a monochromatic XTE finish, while the silver XSE suits surfcasting or anglers who prefer lighter colours.
Inside, HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP work with Infinity Drive and Silent Drive for smooth, lightweight rotation. Super Slow 5 Oscillation lays line evenly with reduced friction and increased casting potential, while Silent Drive eliminates clicking and handle play.
It has a responsive instant drag.
Rigid Cast limits spool deflection during the cast, Parallel Body guides the line towards the first ring, and the aluminium AR-C spool reduces friction as line leaves its lip. For line loading, it holds 550m of 0.35mm, 400m of 0.40mm or 300m of 0.45mm.
A screw-in, forged and anodised aluminium handle finishes the reel.
