Shimano Baitrunner DL 10000RB Reel
Product Information
Shimano’s Baitrunner DL 10000RB is a traditional mid-range freespool reel for carp and specimen fishing. Its smoke-grey body combines with Shimano’s original Baitrunner mechanism, and the 10000 size matches a mid-strength test-curve carp rod.
The black cold-forged aluminium main spool holds 350m of 0.35mm line.
Three shielded stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing give the reel a smooth winding feel. The AR-C spool works with Varispeed line lay to help line leave the spool smoothly when you cast. A Power Roller helps minimise line twist with fine mono and braid.
At 595g, the 10000RB has a 4.6:1 gear ratio and retrieves 87cm of line per crank. Shimano supplies a spare XT-7 spool, while the double handle is fitted to balance the reel and provide power when controlling large fish.
