Product Information
The Shimano Baitrunner DL 4000FB is the FB generation of the DL reel, with black body cosmetics and the original model’s features. Its front drag and freespool facility suit match, predator and specialist fishing, including deadbait work and feeder fishing for carp or barbel.
The XT-7 body and rotor are paired with a cold-forged aluminium main spool and an XT-7 spare spool. Floating Shaft II, Super Stopper II anti-reverse and DynaBalance are also part of the design.
Three shielded stainless-steel ball bearings are fitted, and the Power Roller helps limit line twist with fine mono or braid. The AR-C spool and Varispeed oscillation work with a 4.8:1 gear ratio, and the spool holds 140 yards of 8lb or 160m of 0.25mm line.
