Product Information
The Shimano Speedmaster 14000 XSD Reel is made to pair with 11 to 13ft rods. Its strong, lightweight C14+ Parallel body uses Rigicast technology for improved balance, while the compact performance body combines a large spool with a lightweight body.
HAGANE Gear, X-SHIP and Silent Drive make up the upgraded internal system for smooth performance. Super Slow 5 oscillation, Aero Wrap II and the cold forged aluminium AR-C spool provide precise line lay, particularly with fine-diameter braid.
A 4.3:1 ratio retrieves 103cm of line with each handle turn, and the reel has a 20kg maximum drag. Line reducers let you load mono or braid without using a large amount of backing on thinner lines; capacity is 0.35mm/550m, 0.40mm/400m or 0.45mm/300m.
