Product Information
The Shimano Big Baitrunner XTB Longcast Reel is a big pit Baitrunner made for distance casting, combining Slow Oscillation with cold-forged spools and a 4.6:1 gear ratio. Line reducers are supplied with the reel.
Hagane gearing gives the drivetrain its strength, and X-Ship supports the pinion gear on two ball bearings for smooth, stable power transfer. Dyna Balance reduces wobble on the retrieve, while Floating Shaft II and Super Stopper II complete the mechanism.
An instant front drag works alongside the Baitrunner system, which lets line run freely from the spool until the reel is engaged again. The complete reel weighs 790g.
