Product Information

Shimano’s 25 Aerlex 14000 XTC is a wallet-friendly big-pit reel for carp anglers seeking casting distance and precision.

It brings Shimano technology from more expensive reels, including Super Slow 5 oscillation for friction-reducing parallel line lay and a cold-forged aluminium AR-C spool for casting performance.

G Free Parallel Body gives the reel balance and alignment, while Silent Drive keeps operation smooth and quiet. Instant Drag provides direct control, and the 4.3:1 gearing retrieves 103cm of line with each turn of the handle.

It has a maximum drag of 44lb, a weight of 630g, a 90mm handle and 2/1 bearings. The spool holds 550m of 0.35mm, 400m of 0.40mm or 300m of 0.45mm line.
