Shimano 22 Power Aero 14000 PG XSC Reel

Product Information

For long casts and high-torque retrieval, the Shimano 22 Power Aero 14000 PG XSC Reel combines a 3.5:1 Power Gear ratio with a 20kg maximum drag.

Parallel Body keeps the spool parallel to the rod blank to reduce line slap during the cast, while Super Slow 5 oscillation, the AR-C spool and Rigid Cast support controlled line release and casting accuracy.

Its aluminium HAGANE Body is rigid and impact resistant, helping keep the reel body from flexing when a fish is being played. Cold-forged HAGANE gearing and X-SHIP keep the pinion aligned under load, while Infinity Drive reduces rotational resistance for lighter winding.

Silent Drive reduces small rattles, gaps and movement between internal parts for smooth, quiet rotation.

A small turn of the Hi-Speed Drag knob switches the reel from freespool to fight mode, or locks the spool down for a long cast. X-Protect uses waterproof construction around the drive-gear shaft bearing, and G Free Body moves the centre of gravity closer to the rod.

Two spools and line reducers are supplied, with line capacities of 550m of 0.35mm, 400m of 0.40mm or 300m of 0.45mm line.
