Shakespeare made the Salt XT Uptide Rod for uptide fishing and casting heavy rigs a long way, while its sensitive tip is made for bite detection. Its high-quality carbon blank is slim, quick to react, powerful and stable, with a coloured tip.

A short butt section and long tip section create a bend through the whole blank while keeping power in the hand section. SW-safe solid K-type rings prevent line wrapping around the rings, helping prevent knots or breaks.

The 9ft 6in rod has a 5 to 10oz casting weight and comes in two sections. It measures 2.90m for transport and has nine guides, with an easy-clean high-density EVA handle, X-Shrink finish and rubber end cap.
