Product Information

The Daiwa Saltist Boat Rod is a carbon boat rod for down tide fishing, built with Daiwa’s X45 Bias Carbon to control twisting under load and 3DX to strengthen the blank wall.

HVF Nanoplus carbon adds strength while saving weight, the V-Joint helps the sections bend through a smooth curve, and Fuji K guides, a Fuji DPS reel seat and a Powerlift foregrip complete the fittings.

It comes in 7ft 6in versions rated 15lb to 25lb and 25lb to 40lb, which use a long top section with a handle, plus a 6ft rod rated 30lb to 50lb and a 5ft 9in rod rated 50lb to 80lb for heavier fishing.
