A soft tip helps the Daiwa Kenzaki Uptide Rod hold the lead in the tide as the boat moves, while registering both slack-line and pull-down bites. Its action is designed for uptide fishing along the coast.
The light, powerful blank splits into two equal sections for carrying and has V-Joint carbon support at the joints and spigots. Fuji lined guides, a Fuji DPS screw winch, full EVA handle and gimbal butt cap finish the rod.
Its increasingly powerful mid section and stiff butt help when playing fish and lifting a big fish to the boat. The rod measures 9ft 6in and has a 4oz to 10oz casting range.
