The Wychwood Drift #3/5 Fly Fishing Reel is designed for dry-fly fishing and river nymphing, including Euro and Czech nymphing. Its large-diameter arbor and full-frame layout suit a floating line up to 5-weight with backing, while remaining Euro-leader friendly.
The reel is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium and has a green hard-anodised finish. A sealed waterproof carbon and Teflon multilayer disc drag sits within its slim profile, while the full frame prevents tippet passing through and improves rigidity.
This #3/5-weight model has a deep V spool for extra backing capacity and reduced line memory from the large arbor. The spool and retrieval direction change without tools, and the captive spool release keeps the spool secured. An EVA reel case comes with it.
