The Guideline Fario Fly Reel Bronze has large arbour geometry and a narrow spool for quick line pick up and tidy line handling in modern trout fishing.
It is a lightweight dedicated trout reel for brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling and char, with a recessed reel foot that positions it closer to the rod’s centre axis.
A reinforced central core and stronger spool construction reduce flex under load.
The CNC-machined 6061T aluminium reel has diamond-textured contact points and profiled spool arms, while its sealed carbon drag provides up to 1.2kg of smooth braking force and keeps water and debris away from critical components.
The Fario comes in ±4, ±5 and ±6 sizes for #3 to #7 rods. They weigh from 123g to 130g and hold WF #4, #5 or #6 floating lines with 75m, 100m or 125m of 20lb Dacron backing. A durable neoprene case with a Velcro closure protects the reel on or off the rod.
