The Shimano Alivio FA 10000 is a spinning reel for medium to heavier fishing, including specimen fishing and light surf casting. The 10000 size takes heavier leads or bigger lures for predator, carp and light sea fishing.
It is built on an XT-7 body with a diecast aluminium AR-C spool, and Varispeed line lay winds the line on evenly for smoother casting. The Dyna-balanced rotor turns smoothly, and the 1+1 bearings and gearing keep the retrieve steady under pressure.
