Shimano Catana RC Reel
Product Information
The Shimano Catana RC Reel is a rear-drag spinning reel for freshwater fishing, mainly Bolognese and telescopic trout fishing, as well as spinning for perch, pike and zander. Its smooth drag has enough power for fishing commercials and playing big carp.
An AR-C cold-forged aluminium spool has an angled lip that lets line leave with minimal friction, for longer, more accurate casts and fewer wind knots. Varispeed line lay winds the line on flat and evenly, which stops mono or braid bedding in under pressure.
Two shielded stainless-steel ball bearings and a roller bearing keep the reel running smoothly. It comes in sizes from 1000 to 4000, and the 3000 holds 220m of 0.20mm line.
