Product Information
The Shimano Baitrunner D 4000 is made for legered-rig fishing, combining Shimano’s Baitrunner system with Super-Stopper anti-reverse. Once the check is engaged the tension can be set precisely, with absolute zero back-play.
Dyna-Balance keeps the reel smooth and wobble-free as it turns. The one-piece bail carries a Power Roller that reduces line twist and extends line life, and shielded A-RB bearings resist corrosion, retain lubricant and improve power transmission through the rigid inner core.
The XT-7 body and rotor carry a cold-forged aluminium spool, with a waterproof drag, high-torque rigid gearing, a machined aluminium handle and a maintenance port. The reel has 3+1 bearings and a 4.8:1 gear ratio, and its single spool holds 200 yards of 10lb line.
