The rod is well put together with a strong blank and K-frame stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts. General feedback is that the guides remained smooth and corrosion-free after multiple sea fishing sessions.

The EVA handle is comfortable enough, though not exceptional. The two-piece design breaks down to 111cm, which is fairly standard for transport. Available in three weight classes (12-20lb, 20-30lb, and 30-50lb), each version maintains consistent build quality.

Performance On the water, the Wrath II performs reliably without any standout features. The blank has decent sensitivity for bite detection while maintaining enough backbone to handle typical boat fishing scenarios.

The PENN® Wrath® II Boat rods are available in three weight classes: 12-20lb, 20-30lb and 30-50lb. The rods are equipped with K-frame stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts for extra durability.

The 12-20lb version allows for exciting fishing due to the great bend on the rod.

The 20-30lb version is perfect for the angler who likes to go out on a charter or boat to fish the wrecks for cod, pollock or seabass, and the 30-50lb version is more heavy duty and might even be used for fishing for big cod and halibut in Norway.

These rods offer great value for money and are very suitable for the angler who does not want to spend a large amount of money but does want to have a good quality rod.
