Product Information
Daiwa’s 24 Prorex X reels use AIRDRIVE Design to make the range lighter and stronger. The AIRDRIVE Rotor lowers overall reel weight and shifts the balance point towards the rear, while its DS5 construction spins freely for improved sensitivity and lure feel.
ATD Type-L drag suits thin braid, responding immediately before applying braking progressively after an initial surge.
A redesigned solid AIRDRIVE Bail brings rigidity and lightness, while the DS5 body, five ball bearings, Tough DIGIGEAR, Twist Buster III and aluminium handle make up the reel’s build.
The four sizes, a 2500, a 3000, a high-speed 3000 and a 4000, cover light to medium-heavy lure work.
The 2500 and standard 3000 have 5.3:1 gearing and retrieve 75cm and 80cm per turn, the high-speed 3000 has a 6.2:1 ratio and retrieves 93cm, and the 4000 has 5.2:1 gearing and retrieves 82cm.
