The Shimano TX9 is one of the higher-end rods in Shimano's Tribal series, available in 12ft and 13ft lengths with 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.75lb test curves. It is exceptionally light at just 421g thanks to its premium blank materials.
The blank combines HPC300 and Biofibre carbon with Nano Alloy technology and a 3K carbon wrap on the lower section.
It is finished with a Shimano 3K woven carbon reel seat (gunsmoke fittings), a skinny Duplon handle with tribal-etched butt cap, and 40mm Fuji SIC K-type guides with a 16mm tip ring.
