The Rippton HydroBat Castable Sonar is a lightweight fish finder for shore anglers and family trips. It pairs with the free Rippton app on iOS and Android devices, giving you fish location and size, depth, bottom contour and vegetation data.
The sonar generates its own Wi-Fi, so it works without external batteries or wires. It automatically saves each scan with its time and location, letting you revisit recorded scans in the app.
Measuring 68mm and weighing 105g, it has an 80 to 100m connection range when used on its own. The 1,500mAh battery runs for 5.5 to 6 hours and reaches full charge in two hours.
