The Deeper Chirp+ 2 is a castable smart sonar that pairs with the Fish Deeper app for shore, boat, kayak and ice fishing. The app lets you plan and log trips, analyse scans and create your own bathymetric maps, with data accessible on compatible smart devices.
Its three-frequency CHIRP sonar uses 7°, 20° and 47° beams, while the narrow beam has 1cm target separation. It gives readings from 15cm to 100m, tracks small lures when vertical jigging and has an integrated temperature sensor with 0.2°C accuracy.
The 90g sonar connects by its own 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal, so it does not need internet or mobile data. Connection is stable to 120m, and the rechargeable battery runs for up to 15 hours with GPS off. A neoprene pouch and night fishing cover are included.
