Product Information
The Okuma Scorpio Reel SP3000-A suits river trout spinning, with a 5.0:1 gear ratio for working small spinners and spoons through the current.
Its corrosion-resistant graphite body carries black and purple metal detailing, while the ported Cyclonic Flow Rotor increases airflow for faster drying and reduced corrosion risk.
Quick-Set infinite anti-reverse engages the reel in one direction for firm hook sets.
Four ball bearings and one roller bearing work with Precision Elliptical Gearing, a machine-cut brass pinion gear and computer-balanced rotor system, while the Even Flow line roller is designed to reduce line twist.
At 235g, the SP3000-A retrieves 66cm of line per turn. Its multi-disc Japanese oiled felt drag is rated at 7kg, and the spool holds 310m of 0.20mm, 200m of 0.25mm or 135m of 0.30mm monofilament.
