Product Information
The Okuma Azaki 30 is a general-purpose spinning reel aimed at anglers buying their first reel. Its corrosion-resistant graphite body carries Okuma’s Cyclonic Flow Rotor, which moves air through the rotor so the reel dries faster after use.
A machine-cut brass pinion sits alongside one ball bearing and one roller bearing. The Quick-Set infinite anti-reverse system locks the reel in one direction for firm strikes, while RES II keeps the rotor computer-balanced and the graphite handle has an ABS knob.
Size 30 has a 5.0:1 gear ratio, weighs 216g and retrieves 71cm of line per turn. Its aluminium spool holds 300m of 0.20mm mono, 200m of 0.25mm mono or 130m of 0.30mm mono, with a 7kg multi-disc drag using Japanese oiled felt washers.
