Product Information

The Okuma Jaw Spin Reel is a general-purpose spinning reel aimed at beginners. It runs on three ball bearings and one roller bearing, with Okuma’s Cyclonic Flow Rotor and a multi-disc drag using Japanese oiled felt washers.

A corrosion-resistant graphite body and rotor protect the main components, and a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear drives the reel.

The bail wire is corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the spool is machined and anodised aluminium, and the RESII system computer-balances the rotor.

The range runs from the JAW-20 to the JAW-65, with gear ratios from 4.5:1 to 5.0:1, weights from 199g to 427g, maximum drag from 5kg to 14kg and a line retrieve of 61cm to 87cm per turn.
