The Okuma Avenger B Spinning Reels pair a Flite Drive pinion gear with an oversized HDGII main gear and a gearing stabilisation system.
The hollowed pinion reduces friction between the gear and shaft for a light handle turn, and ball-bearing support from top to bottom steadies the pinion.
A precision machine-cut brass pinion, Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing and multi-disc oiled felt drag are fitted.
The frame, side plate and rotor resist corrosion, and the machined two-tone anodised aluminium spool sits with a strong aluminium handle arm and a CNC aluminium handle with TPE grips.
The range runs from size 500 to 5000, with I-shaped TPE knobs on sizes 500 to 2500 and T-shaped knobs on the 3000 and 4000.
The 3000 size weighs 235g with a 5.3:1 ratio and a 77cm retrieve, the 4000 size weighs 278g with a 5.2:1 ratio and an 83cm retrieve, and the C5000 size weighs 280g with a 5.2:1 ratio and an 88cm retrieve.
