The Sonik Xtractor is an affordable, UK-made carp rod built specifically for stalking and fishing smaller, tighter venues where distance casting is not needed.
It uses a slimline carbon blank with a progressive, light action, and is available in 6ft, 9ft and 10ft lengths with 2.75lb, 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.5lb test curves.
Hardware includes a 17mm black DPS reel seat, black M-Series DL guides (40mm down to 12mm) with an anti-frap ceramic tip, a contoured line clip and a slim Japanese shrink-rubber handle. The rod can be fished retracted, making it effective in very tight or short-cast swims.
