The Scientific Anglers Amplitude Smooth MPX Weight Forward Fly Line is made for general presentation with trout, panfish, bass, grayling and carp.
Its half-size-heavy MPX taper loads fast-action rods and also works with a variety of rod actions, while extra mass at the front of the head adds emphasis to presentation.
AST Plus is a slickness additive that improves shooting ability and durability, and the line has a braided multifilament core. It is intended for moderate and cold climates, and its taper is used with large dry flies, nymphs and streamers.
Weights run from 3 to 8, with head lengths from 32 to 42ft and a 90ft total length on every weight. Head weights span 120 to 305 grains, and the first 30ft carries 110 to 225 grains depending on weight. The line comes in Optic Green, Moss and Buckskin.
