RidgeMonkey FluoroCast Tapered Extreme Distance Mainline combines fluorocarbon-coated monofilament with a tapered profile for long-range casting.

The 10lb, 0.28mm mainline rises smoothly to 35lb, 0.57mm at both ends, creating an integrated shockleader so it can be fished straight through to the lead system without extra leader knots. Its knotless profile is intended to reduce tangles during casting.

The 300m clear line is fast-sinking, supple and tough, with the low visibility and tensile qualities associated with fluorocarbon without the same stiffness or brittleness.

Very low stretch supports sensitivity when feature finding or playing fish, while high abrasion resistance is intended for snags, debris and weed. It follows the contours of the bottom once it has sunk.
