Product Information
Penn’s Mag 4 is a shore-casting multiplier reel designed for long-range casting on UK and European shores. The 515 suits tough-ground bass fishing and general beach work, while the higher-capacity 525 is intended for long-range beach and mixed-ground fishing.
A finger-adjustable external magnetic-brake knob lets you alter the braking system at the reel. Its live spindle and free-floating spool leave the spool unrestricted in free-spool mode for easy, trouble-free long-distance casting.
The compact reel uses a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates around a forged, machined aluminium spool.
Extra-strong CNC gear technology works with stainless-steel main and pinion gears, while the fast-access sideplate gives direct entry to the gearing.
Premium oiled spool bearings and 6+1 shielded stainless-steel ball bearings sit alongside the Versa Drag system with HT100 washers.
