For competitive match and float fishing, the Okuma Carbonite V2 Match is a high-speed reel that combines a shallow aluminium match spool with a rear drag system.

Its corrosion-resistant graphite body and Cyclonic Flow Rotor move air around the rotor, helping it dry faster after getting wet and minimising corrosion. A round metal line clip completes the spool setup.

Precision Elliptical Gearing and the Cyclonic Flow Rotor reduce friction during casting for greater distance, accuracy and line life. A machine-cut brass pinion gear, computer-balanced rotor and Even Flow line roller keep the reel running smoothly while reducing line twist.

Quick-Set infinite anti-reverse engages the reel in one direction for solid hook sets.

The CBV-40MRSDH has a 6.2:1 ratio, retrieves 97cm per turn, weighs 340g and has an 8kg maximum drag. It uses two ball bearings and one roller bearing, with line capacities of 170m at 0.165mm, 150m at 0.185mm or 120m at 0.205mm.

A rigid metal double handle with an EVA knob is fitted, and a graphite spare spool is included.
