Korda first made the ceramic guide version of the Kaizen Green 10ft for big European waters, where rigs are dropped from a boat and fishing with braid is an advantage.

The shorter length also serves on waters where there is no need to cast any distance, and for younger anglers who struggle with a 12ft or 13ft rod.

The guides are Sea-Guide BXTLSG with a ceramic insert, which resists abrasion from heavier braided lines running across it under extreme tension. The butt ring is 40mm and the tip guide 12mm.

The blank is made on a fast-tapered mandrel, so most of the flex is at the tip until the rod comes under heavier loading, such as when casting.

It comes in 3lb, 3.5lb and 4lb test curves. The blank has a low glare matt finish with black whippings and a subtle green logo. The handle is covered in black Japanese shrink wrap with a flared end for better grip during casting, and the reel seat is a Sea-Guide DPS style.
