5 Things To Know

The 9ft and 10ft retractable format is the main reason this rod works for easier transport and tighter swim access.
The 9ft and 10ft lengths make it more of a stalking and mobile-session rod than a pure distance tool.
Available test curves include 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.75lb, covering softer and more powerful compact setups.
The retractable butt section is the main reason to choose it over a standard two-piece rod.
It is featured in our best surface fishing rods for carp guide.

Product Information

The ESP Onyx Quickdraw Carp Rod is a top-quality fishing rod that offers exceptional performance and functionality. The rod is made from high modulus carbon, which makes it lightweight, responsive, and provides excellent casting capabilities.

The rod comes in five different models with different lengths and test curves, making it suitable for different fishing scenarios. One of the main benefits of the Quickdraw is its retractable butt section, which allows it to be stored away compactly. The nine-foot model is only 44 inches long when packed away, and the ten-foot model is 50 inches, making it easy to transport to your fishing location and ideal for fishing tight swims.

The rod has six lightweight minima-style stainless guides, which help to reduce friction and ensure that the line flows smoothly. The rod also features a SIC anti-frap tip ring, a moulded ESP line clip, and a DPS reel seat.

The full-length Duplon or EVA handle feels solid and is clearly resistant to wear and tear. The Onyx Quickdraw Carp Rod is perfect for anglers who want to keep their gear as compact as possible without compromising on performance. The rod has been extensively field-tested for over 18 months, and various anglers have used it to catch carp from different waters, including big French pits.
