Retractable and packing down to just 50in, the ESP Quickdraw 4K 10ft is built on a high modulus blank with a crisp, responsive action. The name comes from the finish, a 3K weave on the butt and a lighter 1K on the tip.

The full-length handle is ultra slim hard grade EVA, a snug fit in the largest of the ESP Mini Butt Grips, with a laser etched butt cap. The black DPS reel seat has a flared burnt cork trim above the handle.

Lightweight stainless twin leg guides run from a 40mm butt to a 12mm tip, and the tip guide has an anti-frap frame with a SiC ceramic. ESP's moulded line clip grips the mainline without damage.

There are four models, in 3lb, 3.25lb and 3.5lb test curves plus a 4.5lb spod & marker rod.

ESP describes the 3lb as having a mellow playing action for smaller venues and stalking, the 3.25lb as the all-rounder and the 3.5lb as the rod for consistent distance casting and PVA bags.

The 4.5lb performs best for distance spodding with a midi Spomb, which weighs about 6oz when full.
