The Daiwa Saltist Travel Rods are multi section lure rods for anglers who need a compact rod for travel. V-Joint Alpha keeps the blank curving smoothly through casting and fish-playing, while giving it a near-perfect loading shape.
HVF, X45 and 3DX carbon keep the blanks slim and light. HVF uses a higher modulus grade without added weight, while X45 controls torque to enhance casting energy and accuracy.
Daiwa's 3DX uses interwoven carbon fibres in a rigid honeycomb that increases power and compression resistance.
The range spans 7ft, 8ft and 8ft 6in lengths, covering 14-42g, 28-84g and 80-140g casting weights. The 7ft and 8ft models cover 14-42g, and the longer rods come in the two heavier ranges.
Fuji O-ring guides, a Fuji reel seat and rubber gimbal are fitted, with a protective travel case supplied.
