Product Information
The Airflo Booby Basher is a fast-sinking 40+ fly line for experienced fly anglers casting from the boat or bank. It sinks at 8 inches per second and was developed for longer casts with ultra-fast tip-action rods, while a stable loop helps the line carry distance.
It was originally intended for long-range bank fishing on concrete-bowl reservoirs, where it drops flies quickly to depths of 30 feet or more.
The ultra-thin, ridged running line is there to reduce tangles, and its high-vis orange finish makes takes easier to spot. The head is grey and black in colour.
The 400gr line has a Di8 density and a 55ft head that can be cut for individual rod lengths. On 7/8-weight rods, the head needs cutting to about 40ft.
