Westin’s W10 13 Strand Braid is a high-performance braided line for anglers seeking a smooth, strong main line across a variety of fisheries.
It is made from premium Japanese UHMPE fibres in a 13X construction, with 12 carriers woven around a central core to create a uniformly round profile.
Its Advanced Ultra High PIC construction uses 56 weaves per inch, giving the braid a smooth surface and increased abrasion resistance. Westin’s Dura-Coating gel makes the surface water-repellent, reduces water absorption and friction, and supports longer, more accurate casting.
The Orchid Purple braid comes on 135m spools in diameters from 0.08mm to 0.33mm, with stated breaking strains from 6.0kg to 31.2kg. The colour is dyed before curing, then protected with Dura-Coat to help it retain its finish over time.
