Trakker Techpro Sunglasses Review

Build quality 9.5/10
Value for money 8.0/10
Clarity 9.0/10
Comfort & Fit 9.5/10

How well is it built?

You get a proper hardcase included, which already puts them ahead of a lot of mid-range competition. The frame is finished with a subtle but stylish Trakker metal logo and feels like it’ll stand up to long-term use without easily scratching or bending.

Nothing feels loose or plasticky, it’s clearly been built with real bank-life in mind. The rubber grips are snugly fitted, and I didn’t notice any seams or gaps that can often appear after a bit of wear.

I’ve dropped them twice already and they’ve come through without damage, so the durability looks solid. All in all, they’re confidently built and ready for real use.

Clarity

The clarity offered by the TechPro lenses is right at the top of what you’ll find at this price point. Even in mixed light, the polarised HD filters deliver crisp detail and eliminate surface glare incredibly well.

I tested them on shallow gravel spots and margins, and the improvement in visibility compared to standard polarised lenses was instantly noticeable. You can easily spot feeding bubbles and even subtle movement in the water, especially on calm days.

For sight fishing, they genuinely offer a performance edge, and the reduced eye fatigue over long periods is another plus. In short, if you want to actually see what’s happening under the surface, these deliver.

Comfort & Fit

Weighing just 30g, the TechPro Sunglasses are a very easy wear across a full session. The wraparound design keeps them tight and stable, while the rubber nose and ear contact points prevent slipping, even when sweating or moving quickly to net fish.

They feel secure without pinching or sliding, which makes a difference when bending over or casting repeatedly. I also appreciated how balanced they felt, with no annoying pressure on the temples or bridge after hours of wear.

They come with a lanyard, too, which means you can hang them round your neck without faff when the sun drops behind clouds. For anglers doing long days or switching spots frequently, the fit is spot on.

Is it good value for money?

The TechPro sunglasses definitely sit in the upper mid-range, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The lens clarity is superb, and you're also getting comfort, proper accessories, and solid protection for your investment.

Compared to cheaper pairs that fog up, distort at the edges, or break in a season, these justify the price with ease. They’re not the cheapest, but for any angler who values visibility and a solid all-day fit, the step-up in quality is noticeable and worth it.

Plus, with UV400 protection and a build that clearly lasts, they feel like a smart buy rather than a splurge. If you’re after high-end clarity without going overboard on cost, they hit a sweet spot.
