The Shimano Nexave FJ is a spinning reel for lure fishing, coarse and feeder fishing, plus light inshore saltwater work. Its lightweight, durable design and dependable drag system support several fishing styles.
HAGANE Gear provides lasting strength and smooth power transfer, while SilentDrive removes play and vibration during rotation. The G-Free Body moves the centre of gravity closer to the rod to reduce fatigue during longer sessions.
An aluminium AR-C spool reduces friction for longer, more accurate casts, and Varispeed II oscillation lays line evenly. The Anti-Twist Fin controls slack line with fine braids, and the reel uses three shielded stainless steel ball bearings with one roller bearing.
