Ready to fish straight from the box, the Shakespeare SALT Spin Reel Pre-Spooled is aimed at anglers starting out in saltwater fishing. The range comes in 6000, 7000 and 8000 sizes.
A corrosion-resistant graphite body and handle suit saltwater use and keep the weight down. Each reel has one stainless-steel ball bearing, a multi-disc drag system and an ergonomic graphite handle for a comfortable grip.
Clear monofilament line is already fitted, so the reel is ready for use. On the SALT Spin 80, the 4.1:1 gear ratio, 8kg maximum drag and 220m capacity of 0.40mm line sit alongside an approximate 620g weight.
