Penn Battle IV Spinning Reel
Product Information
Penn’s Battle IV is a saltwater spinning reel for anglers tackling a wide range of species. Its Hydro Armor sealing system protects critical components from water intrusion in harsh conditions, while the full metal body and sideplate withstand heavy loads.
CNC Gear Technology and the HT-100 carbon-fibre drag system give the reel smooth, powerful retrieves and a wide range of drag settings.
Five plus one sealed stainless steel ball bearings provide smooth, corrosion-resistant operation in saltwater, while the Superline spool takes braid directly without backing. Line Capacity Rings provide a reference for line capacity and help prevent overfilling.
The 6000 has 25lb/11.3kg maximum drag, mono capacities of 490yd/30lb, 390yd/40lb and 335yd/50lb, plus braid capacities of 335yd/15lb, 230yd/20lb and 210yd/25lb.
The 8000 reaches 30lb/13.6kg maximum drag, with mono capacities of 475yd/50lb, 390yd/65lb and 345yd/80lb, plus braid capacities of 340yd/20lb, 310yd/25lb and 230yd/30lb.
