The Scientific Anglers Mastery SBT uses a short belly taper and extended handling section as a floating weight-forward fly line for short-to-medium-range delivery with extended line control.
It is well suited to single-handed Spey casts and comes in #3, #4, #5, #6 and #7 line weights.
More mass sits towards the front to help turn over weighted flies and perform roll casts. The line turns over weighted nymphs and streamers, while long leaders allow lighter presentations. A camo tip is paired with a bright belly for easier handling and line control.
Scientific Anglers uses a braided multifilament core. Head lengths run from 21.5ft or 6.6m to 25.3ft or 7.7m across the line weights, with a 100ft or 30.5m overall length. Head weights run from 100gr or 6.5g to 185gr or 11.9g.
