Product Information
The Savage Gear ALPHA SG2 Monster Bait Caster has a fast action that gives room to work large swimbaits before its strong backbone takes over for hooksets. Its reinforced progressive blank is made to handle big swimbaits, hard strikes and strong fish.
The blank uses 24+30T High Modulus Carbon, with SeaGuide CCS stainless-steel guides fitted with SiN rings. A Double Lock reel seat holds the reel, and the rod comes in a Competition Ready-To-Fish rod bag.
It comes in 2.21m lengths rated from 35-100g or 60-130g, plus 2.59m lengths rated from 50-110g or 70-150g. The 2.21m 35-100g rod has a 116cm transport length, while the 2.59m 50-110g model packs down to 135cm.
