The Tidal XR Beach casters have been specially designed to be used with either a fixed spool reel or multiplier and are equipped with the new SW-proof Fuji-O deep-pressed frame guides.
All blanks are built with a mixture of high modulus 30/40T carbon to ensure a lightweight, responsive and very slim blank. Next to that, the special Carbon X-Wrap technology adds to the strength of the rod and also decreases twisting, thereby improving casting accuracy and control.
The strong glow-in-the-dark paint makes it also easy to see bites during low light conditions and next to that, these are all equipped with a special X-Shrink casting grip to give maximum control during your cast.

Our recent testing of the 3.90m (13′) model revealed outstanding casting performance across its 4-8oz range, with optimal results achieved around 170g plus bait. The responsive blank loads predictably and delivers impressive power transfer during the cast, particularly when paired with my Penn Mag 3 multiplier and a pendulum casting style.
The 14ft XR models have proven equally capable, handling loads up to 300g with ease, though they particularly excel with 150g plus bait for continental-style fishing. The fast action ensures quick recovery and provides excellent bite detection through the responsive tip.
