Product Information
For saltwater shore and boat fishing, the PENN Fierce IV is a heavy-duty spinning reel with a full metal body and sideplates. It uses an HT-100 carbon-fibre drag system, while the Techno-Balanced rotor gives a smooth retrieve.
Four sealed stainless-steel ball bearings and an Instant Anti-Reverse bearing form part of the reel’s mechanism. The Superline Spool is fitted across the range, and the 3000 model has a 6.2:1 gear ratio with a 35-inch, or 89 cm, retrieve.
Reel sizes run from 1000 to 8000, with gear ratios from 5.2:1 to 6.2:1. LL models carry the Live Liner feature.
