The Okuma T-REX 7000 is a robust carp reel built for demanding fishing, and it works with both braid and mono. Its Line Control Spool is shaped to improve casting distance.
A corrosion-resistant graphite body carries an aluminium spool, a front multi-disc drag and a heavy-duty, solid anodised aluminium bail wire. The forged aluminium handle has a comfortable wooden knob.
It runs on six plus one bearings with a 4.5:1 gear ratio and a 13kg maximum drag. The reel weighs 580g, holds 310m of 0.35mm line and has a round metal line clip.
