Product Information
The Okuma Custom Black CB-80 is a front-drag spinning reel for carp fishing, with a machine-cut anodised aluminium spool and an LCS line-control spool that makes casting smoother.
Its 3+1 stainless-steel bearing arrangement and Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing lock the reel in one direction for firm hook sets.
A worm-shaft transmission system works with the even-flow roller for smooth line winding, while the roller is intended to reduce line twist. The Hydro Block system keeps water and foreign material out of the drag system, and the CB-80 has an aluminium regular handle.
The CB-80 has a 3.8:1 gear ratio, retrieves 93 cm of line per turn and weighs 690 g. Maximum drag is 15 kg, with mono capacity of 265 m at 0.40 mm, 210 m at 0.45 mm, 170 m at 0.50 mm or 135 m at 0.55 mm. An extra graphite spool is included for carrying a different line size.
