The Guideline 4 Cast Plus WF is a floating weight-forward fly line for all-round fly fishing with both overhead and spey casts.
Its refined taper, thinner line diameter and thicker handling and running sections accommodate different lengths carried beyond the rod tip during false casting.
A relatively short front taper loads the rod with limited line beyond the tip, while balanced weight through the head gives line control and a slightly delayed turnover.
It uses a braided multifilament core, with factory-welded loops at both ends and a laser identification mark near the tip.
It comes in #4, #5, #6 and #8 line weights in Bright Olive and Cool Grey. The #4 has a 10.5m, 10g head, the #5 10.5m and 12g, and the #6 11m and 14g, while the #8 has an 11.2m, 18g head. Line lengths run from 25m to 30m and the box and spool are recyclable.
