5 Things To Know
- Beginners and anyone wanting a versatile, do-it-all carp rod on a tight budget will find the Riot a sensible all-rounder.
- Pick from 9ft, 10ft or 12ft and 2.75lb to 3.25lb to suit your venue; the longer versions handle bigger casts, the 9ft suits stalking.
- A progressive casting action with double-leg SIC guides and an anti-frap tip gives a fairly good cast across mixed waters.
- The trade-off is performance, as it lacks the power of pricier rods and is not suited to large waters, but it is hard to beat for the money.
- It is featured in our best budget carp rods guide.
