Wychwood LRS Troll and Cast 8ft 6in 250g Rod

Product Information

The Wychwood LRS Troll and Cast rod is made for trolling and casting large lures when targeting predators including pike and perch. Its 24T carbon blank has a progressive action that cushions takes while retaining clear bite registration and a positive hook set.

The handle works at full length for casting, while its removable extension gives more clearance and manoeuvrability when trolling from a boat. A 3K carbon sleeve protects the handle where it sits in a trolling rest and helps when releasing the rod under heavy load.

At 8ft 6in or 260cm, it casts weights up to 250g and can troll lures of 450g or more. Sea Guide fittings are used throughout, and the handle measures 42cm with the extension fitted or 34cm without it.
