Product Information
The Westin W2 spinning reel uses a carbon body and rotor that keep the build light while remaining rigid. It is made for modern predator fishing in freshwater and light saltwater, and the carbon construction is intended to reduce fatigue during longer sessions.
Inside, a 5+1 stainless-steel bearing system works with a CNC brass pinion gear and zinc drive gear for a fluid retrieve. The reel has instant anti-reverse, carbon drag washers, a stainless-steel mainshaft and an IPX5 rating.
A machined single anodised aluminium spool is paired with an aluminium handle. The W2 comes in 2000 FD and 4000 FD sizes, with the 2000 weighing 210g and the 4000 weighing 267g.
