Westin’s tungsten Ned jig heads are made for Ned fishing and have a specially balanced head. Tungsten is 30 per cent denser and harder than lead, so the same weight is smaller and meets less resistance as it falls through the water.
The polished black tungsten head carries a thin-wire sharp hook with a black nickel coating. Its keeper system grips firmly while causing less damage, and the hard tungsten sends feedback through the line, particularly braid, so the bottom can be felt clearly.
